Description
Nishinoseki Tezukuri Junmai is a typical Kyushu style sake. It’s relatively sweet, though, after a few sips, the sweetness subsides, rich in flavour and full of umami. The aroma is slightly fruity with some hints of vanilla and rice. The texture is smooth and the body is medium.
I tried Nishinoseki Tezukuri Junmai at a sake tasting event so I didn’t have any food with it. However, it’s easy to drink and would go perfectly with rich food such as chicken teriyaki or yakitori. I can imagine it also should be perfect with cured meat and hard slightly sweet cheese.
