Atago no Sakura is an excellent sake: soft and delicate, with balanced acidity and a slight sweetness in the taste. It’s refreshing and light with ubiquitous for junmai daiginjo banana and melon aroma, medium body and rounded finish. Atago no Sakura is a great sake for a very wide range of food. I had it with yakitori and soba at Jugemu, a small izakaya in the heart of Soho in London.
