An introduction to the exciting world of sake, with Mark Zheng-Garratt of Gekkeikan.
About the speaker:
Originally from Perthshire in Scotland, Mark has called Kyoto – the ancient capital of Japan – his hometown for over 8 years. Rather than Highland whisky, however, he promotes Japan’s national drink as Export Area Manager for one of the world’s largest and most storied sake companies, Gekkeikan. Animated and enthusiastic, he advocates for an “enjoyment above all” approach to appreciating sake.
This event will be followed by two subsequent Gekkeikan sake pairing webinars on Sat 7th & Sat 14th November.
